General Service Rates
Hourly Labor Rate
$75
Hourly rate for repairs of your gun when service is not listed or the service requested is complex and time-consuming.
Minimum Shop Charge
$37.50
Minimum charge for minor repairs or service of your gun to return to safe working condition.
Estimate Charge
$45
Preparation of a written service estimate that includes the inspection, diagnosis, determination of labor and required parts costs for repairs. Estimate for the service of you gun is valid for 30 days.
Headspace Check
$45
Disassembly of your gun to allow the verification of SAAMI correct headspace. Reassembly of you gun after validation of headspace. If gun fails headspace, service and repairs will be recommended to correct deficiencies.
Safety Check and Test Fire
$45
Check of the safe operation of you gun as well as a test fire with appropriate ammunition. A light service cleaning of the firearm after the test fire is included. If the gun fails to test fire, service and repairs will be recommended to return the gun to a safe operating condition. Additional cost for ammunition for your firearm if provided by the shop.
Firearms Cleanings (DCOAs)
Disassembly, Cleaning, Oiling, and Assembly: A service that includes complete disassembly, inspection of parts for wear/ breakage. Cleaning of all parts to remove grime, carbon and lead fouling. Oiling of firearm in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Complete reassembly of the gun followed by the manufacturer's recommended functions check. Additional cost for a gun that is extremely dirty, requires additional service or replacement/ repair to any parts.
Pistols
$65
Most Single and Double Action Revolvers, Striker Fired and Semi Auto Pistols. Additional charge for antique, high grade and highly modified pistols.
Shotguns
$75-100
Bolt Action shotguns: $75. Most pump action shotguns: $75. Most semi-auto shotguns: $90. Most break open single shot, side by side and over and under shotguns: $100. Additional cost for Browning A5, Winchester 1897, Remington 1400 and similar models. Additional charge for antique, high grade and highly modified shotguns.
Rifles
$75-100
Bolt Action rifles: $60. Most pump action rifles: $75. Most semi-auto rifles: $80. Most break open single shot, side by side and over and under rifles/ combos: $90. Additional cost for MILSURP Rifles, Browning BAR, Remington 740 series, and similar models. Additional charge for antique, high grade and highly modified rifles to include AR platforms.
Special order parts and items need to be paid in full prior to order. A 25% restocking fee will be charged for returned parts and items. Written estimates are valid for 30 days. Firearms in for repair are considered surrendered unless paid in full and picked up 60 days from notification of completion.
